1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering as a teacher and uploading content on Examebuddy, you agree to be bound by these Teacher Terms & Conditions, along with the Privacy Policy and Refund & Wallet Policy.
If you do not agree, you should not use the platform as a teacher.

2. Nature of the Platform
• Examebuddy is a mock / model / practice examination platform
• It does not conduct official government examinations
• It is not affiliated with any government or examination authority
Teachers understand that:
• Exams are for practice and preparation only
• Student results do not guarantee real examination performance

3. Eligibility to Register as a Teacher
• Above 15 years old Anyone can register as a teacher
• Teachers may include school teachers, tutors, instructors, or subject experts, university students and students
• Teachers are responsible for ensuring they have the right and capability to create and upload exam content

4. Teacher Responsibilities
Teachers agree to:
• Upload accurate, relevant, and practice-oriented questions
• Ensure content reasonably aligns with the intended syllabus or exam type
• Avoid misleading, false, or copied content
• Maintain professional conduct on the platform
Examebuddy does not verify or certify teacher qualifications. (At the moment)

5. Exam Creation & Pricing
• Teachers are free to:
o Create free or paid mock exams
o Set the initial exam price
• Teachers may decide whether:
o Re-attempts are allowed
o Re-attempts are free or paid
o Reduced pricing applies for subsequent attempts
Examebuddy provides system tools to support these options.

6. Content Ownership & Platform Rights
• Teachers retain ownership of the exam content they create
• By uploading content, teachers grant Examebuddy a royalty-free right to:
o Store content in its database
o Display exams to students
o Use content for platform-related purposes, including:
Practice systems
Analytics
AI-based features (present or future)
Improving learning experiences
This does not prevent teachers from using their content elsewhere, except as restricted below.

7. Content Exclusivity
• Teachers may not upload the same exam content to other competing platforms
• Teachers agree not to authorize others to upload identical content under different names on Examebuddy
This helps maintain content quality and platform integrity.

8. Revenue Share & Earnings
• Exam revenue is shared as follows:
o 60% to the teacher
o 40% to Examebuddy
• Revenue is calculated based on successful student exam purchases
• Platform commission covers system maintenance, payment handling, and platform development

9. Teacher Payments & Withdrawals
• Teacher earnings can be withdrawn:
o Once every 15 days
o Minimum withdrawal balance: LKR 500
• Payments will be made via platform-approved methods
• Examebuddy reserves the right to:
o Withhold payments temporarily in case of disputes, misuse, or violations

10. Prohibited Use & Self-Promotion
Teachers must not use Examebuddy for personal advertising.
This includes (but is not limited to):
• Promoting private classes or tuition centers
• Sharing phone numbers, WhatsApp, Telegram, email, or social media links
• Redirecting students to external platforms
• Advertising institutes, courses, or paid services outside Examebuddy
This restriction applies to:
• Exam questions
• Descriptions
• Explanations
• Future audio or video content
Violation may result in content removal or account suspension.

11. Reviews & Student Interaction
• Teachers may receive student reviews and feedback
• Reviews are managed by the platform
• Teachers may not:
o Manipulate reviews
o Pressure students for positive feedback

12. Platform Review & Content Removal
Examebuddy reserves the right to:
• Review exams before or after publishing
• Edit, unpublish, or remove content if:
o It violates platform rules
o It receives repeated valid complaints
o It is misleading or inappropriate

13. Account Suspension & Termination
• Teacher accounts may be suspended or terminated for:
o Policy violations
o Misuse of the platform
o Breach of these terms
• In case of termination due to violations:
o Pending earnings may be withheld
o No compensation is guaranteed

14. Limitation of Liability
Examebuddy is not responsible for:
• Student outcomes or success in real examinations
• Exam popularity or sales performance
• Content accuracy disputes beyond reasonable platform review
Teachers upload content at their own responsibility.

15. Policy Updates
• Examebuddy may update these terms or related policies
• Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of updates
• Significant changes will be communicated via the platform or email
